Foxy Print

Sometimes a singular seemingly insignificant moment can provide me with ample inspiration for a painting. Driving home one winter afternoon, across one of the many bogs here in Kildare, I carefully turned a corner to meet a fox crossing the snow covered road. Its magnificent red coat stood out from the wintery scene and it paused for a moment to look my way, before walking off. The picture painted itself in my mind.
