I'm Kate Furlong, a  Kildare based artist. My work, in vivid, versatile acrylic mediums, is inspired by the diverse landscapes and architecture of the Irish countryside and influenced by the abundant biodiversity found within it. I play with light, textures and colour and focus on creating bold, vibrant pieces that blend my creative interpretation of our natural world with dreamlike, whimsical elements, all the while seeking to communicate the healing power of art and its ability to lift the spirits of all who embrace it.
